Well I highly doubt the Steelers will repeat their 15-1 performance from last year but they should finish 12-4 or as well as 13-3.

The core returns sans Plaxiglass Burress. I do believe however that losing Plaxico is a good thing. His attitude was detrimental to what the team was trying to do. Cedrick Wilson can be a fairly good #3 WR or even a #2( with Randle-El staying in the slot position where he is quite dangerous). Fred Gibson(6'4"), the 4th round pick out of Georgia could be a mirror image of Plaxico(6'5") minus the attitude. Heath Miller is a super-stud. This guy is the best tight end for Pittsburgh since Eric Green and may turn out to be the best ever. What a weapon for Roethlisberger. The only down point for the Steelers offense is the age of their running backs and lack of depth at offensive line. Look for big passing #'s from the, dare I say it, high-octane Steelers passing attack.

On defense, the Steelers made their smartest move in years in releasing Chad Scott. This guy sucked more than a hoover. The 2nd round pick Bryant McFadden was one of the premier CB's in college football last year playing for the Seminoles. With Troy Polamalu developing very nicely and Joey Porter fully healthy, look for the Steelers defense to again be one of the best.

Your analysis sounds good, but we all know how the NFL works these days. One bad injury can kill a good team and one surprise rookie (e.g., Roethlisberger) can propel an underrated team to the top.

Just as easily as I can see the Steelers repeating in their division, I can also see Baltimore or Cincinnati becoming this year's San Diego Chargers.

No one has ever 3-peated since the inception of the Super Bowl. Can the Patriots repeat....yes. Will they....no. The loss of the offensive and defensive coordinators will be too great to overcome. As the saying goes, a captain is only as good as his crew.....well, Beli Boy has lost his crew.

Without Cope, the Stillers are done!

We will cope without Cope. It is a big loss, similar to the Lakers losing Chick Hearn. I will really miss listening to Myron on Sundays.
